Barnesville Ohio

Barnesville is a charming village with much to offer in history.  The village is located south of I-70 on the western side of Belmont County.  You'll find turn-of-the-century architecture on many streets, and many historical downtown buildings. This town boasts of shopping, churches, excellent school complexes, a medical clinic and hospital, and a beautiful park. The park complex  offers swimming, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, picnic pavilions, a challet for special indoor events and an olympic size pool which is host to many swim events.  The park includes over 12 acres of land offering stunning views of a lake and beautiful scenery.  

If you are visiting the area, there are many "Bed & Breakfast" victorian homes to choose from.  You will not want to miss the Mansion Museum tours.  If you are traveling anywhere in the area around the fall of the year, you will want to attend the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival.
